It is said that the family who owns this house has a daughter who got seriously injured. They went to Disney World once and noticed the child responded positively to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride. So, when they got home they began decorating their own yard with nautical ornaments. While the story is unconfirmed, it is true that the yard has nautical decorations and ships from almost ever legend, and era from Vikings to Jaws. It is also said that the neighbors are angry because of all the visitors and attention brought to the neighborhood by the display. We did run into one neighbor walking a dog and asked, "How long has this house been this way?" She replied, "To long!!!" | |||||
