What makes a place haunted? Some say a traumatic event causes
a sort of emotional recording that clings to a certain location.
Some also say that if a person dies in trauma or with unfinished
business, that they become confused, not realizing they are
dead. They tend to linger around places they know, or maybe
even the place they died.
Hauntings can be auditory. People have heard footsteps and
knocking fairly often. They can also be visual of course.
Some rare hauntings can be sensed using taste or smell as
is the case with Raynham Hall.
Come and join us while we look at some of Long Island's supposedly
haunted places. Please feel free to email us here
if you know of a haunted location.
