Wicks' Witch is Which

b_400_300_16777215_00_images_stories_old_Roadside_wicks.jpgMany Long Islanders go to the Wicks Garden, in Saint James, for Halloween. They have pumpkins of plenty and creepy crawly kitsch, such as a humongous spider and enormous witch hovering over the building.

I would never cover a place on this site as a roadside attraction if it were just seasonal. The witch isn’t just a Halloween ornament, she lingers year round.

Thats Winnie The Witch! My husband used to go there as a kid!
I have been going to Wick's ever since I was a little kid. Now I take my granddaughters there each year. Winnie the Witch has always been a favorite of mine. We use to go to see the Pumpkinman too. Fun times!
